With one-component RTV silicone rubber compounds, work can begin as soon as the product is ejected from its tube or cartridge. These products become elastic rubbers after curing, and adhere well to almost all materials as they cure. These properties make one-component RTV silicone rubbers suitable for a wide range of applications.

Features
Electrical properties
They have outstanding electrical properties, in terms of volume resistivity and ability to withstand high voltage.
Heat and cold resistance
They can be used over a wide temperature range (-40°C to +180°C).
Shock resistance
The cured rubbers have excellent rubber elasticity and absorb vibration and shock.
Weather resistance
One-component RTV rubbers exhibit almost no deterioration when exposed to the outdoor elements for long periods, because they have outstanding resistance to UV rays, ozone, and moisture.
Workability
These products are easy to use, because they can be ejected from their tubes (or other containers) and used immediately.

A two-component RTV silicone rubber compounds cures by adding a specified amount of a curing agent to the base compound. Like one-component RTV rubbers, two-component RTV rubbers have outstanding electrical properties and resistance to heat and cold, while also offering improved deep-section curability and storage stability.

Features
Properties identical to those of one-component RTV rubbers
Electrical properties, heat and cold resistance, shock resistance, weather resistance, curing characteristics, etc.
  Deep-section curability
The curing reaction proceeds uniformly at the surface and internally, regardless of rubber thickness.
  Adjustability of cure speed
Cure time can be adjusted by changing the type or quantity of curing agent, or by heating.
  Storability
The base compound and curing agent are stored separately, so the product will not become unusable due to curing during storage. Two-component RTV rubbers can be stored for long periods.

Two-component RTV silicone rubber compounds for moldmaking are suitable for mold masters for molding with polyester resin, epoxy resin, urethane foam, wax, plaster, and low-melt-point metal alloys. These RTV rubber compounds allow accurate reproduction of the shape of the original. They are easy to use and are thus used widely in industrial applications, as well as by hobbyists looking to create the perfect replica.

Features
Workability
The base compound and curing agent are mixed and then poured into the mold to create a silicone rubber mold quickly. Workable time and cure time can be adjusted.
Mold-releasability
The cured rubber releases easily from the mold, so mold-release agents (soapy water, wax, etc.) are unnecessary.
Dimensional stability
These rubbers offer good dimensional stability, with little shrinkage.
Flowability
They have excellent flowability, so the original form is reproduced accurately. This includes even intricate shapes and details such as fingerprints and wood grain.
Heat and chemical resistance
These rubbers have outstanding resistance to heat and chemicals.
Deep-section curability
Moldmaking RTV silicone rubber compound cures uniformly throughout the mold, regardless of thickness.
Non-exothermic
No heat is generated during curing, meaning no adverse effects to the original.
